IBBR Booster Pendant
I wanted to design a piece of jewelry that would be easy to wear and would have wide appeal as a special fundraiser for Sally and her bears. I intend it to send a message to all who see it that the wearer is a proud supporter of the very special bears at Idaho Black Bear Rehab.
So here it is - a simple pendant with an engaging hand-sculpted little bear. A few sterling silver beads add elegance and a gemstone beads adds a touch of color. The clasp is sterling silver, and the cord is genuine leather. The piece in this photo is an example. Each one will be slightly different, as I will individually sculpt each bear.
The colors and poses of the bears will vary slightly from piece to piece, but I will carefully create each one. The bears measure approximately 1 3/8" to 1 7/8" nose to tail, depending on the pose. Here are some examples.
You can choose your gemstone (from top to bottom): onyx (black), red jasper (brick red), yellow jade (translucent yellow), lapis lazuli (blue), or amethyst (translucent purple). All the beads are 8mm except for the amethyst which is 6mm and faceted. I will pair the onyx, red jasper, or yellow jade with a black leather cord; the lapis with a dark navy blue leather cord; and the amethyst with a dark purple leather cord.
