I sculpt my Ooak (one of a kind) animal art dolls from polymer clay. I do NOT use any molds - each piece is completed hand-made and original, truly one of a kind. I also do not use any paints. The colors you see are the colors of the clay. When I'm done sculpting, I lightly brush the pieces with mica powders for a beautiful sheen. I finish the pieces with artist quality varnish. I use glass eyes for a realistic look.
One of my favorite parts is embellishment, and I use pearls, crystals, glass seed beads, vintage glass or stone cabochons or whatever else I can find that enhances the piece.
