Combining scupted polymer clay and painting makes for some interesting gourds. I further embellished some with beads. Each is completely hand made and one-of-a-kind and would make a great addition to your collection.
Barn Owl and her Nest
This is one of my favorites. I scupted the owl on the lid and the feathers serving as legs from polymer clay in a color that resembles bone. Then I painted the baby owls and nest. I finished the entire piece with three coats of artists' quality varnish for long-lasting protection. The piece stands 8" tall and is 9" at its widest point. Own this beautiful and unique piece for $145.
